THEMATIC SYMPOSIUMS

3 or 4 communications per thematic symposium: with speakers from 2 or more different institutional affiliations.

Maximum time for presenting the symposium: 75/90 minutes (15 minutes for each communication and 30 minutes for discussion).

STANDARDS FOR SUBMISSION

  • Abstracts will be presented in one of the following languages: Portuguese, Spanish, French, English;

  • All abstracts will be evaluated by the Scientific Committee of the Congress and their decision is not subject to appeal;

  • The work will only be considered definitively accepted after registration and payment by the author responsible for the presentation;

 

  • There is a limit of submission of two works per registered author , in each modality.

 

  • The author presenting the work must be registered for the congress. Only authors registered for the congress will receive the participation certificate;

  • The presentations will take place online through a videoconference platform;

  • All information and the link to the conference will be made available via email, in a timely manner;

  • In order to comply with the regulations governing the rights of authors, the reproduction of images, figures or graphics from other publications must have prior authorization from the rights holders (author / editor / patient). Permission is required regardless of its holder, except for documents in the public domain.

  • To find the deadline for submitting the work, check the "Registration" -> "Dates" tab.

In the summary , the following aspects should be considered:

  1. Authors [name / affiliation / telephone / e-mail]. If there are several authors, the corresponding author must be indicated;

  2. Type of presentation (Symposium, Workshop or Poster);

  3. Relevance within the scope of the congress / theme in which it falls (must be indicated according to the list of subthemes of the event: Mental Health, Development and Learning, Functionality and Quality of Life)

  4. Title;

  5. In research and descriptive work on professional experience, the abstract should contain the following sections: 1) Introduction; 2) Objectives; 3) Method (s); 4) Results; 5) Conclusions;

  6. Maximum 250 words (Font Type: Arial-11; Follow APA standards);

  7. 3 to 5 keywords;

  8. In the case of thematic symposia / panels, the title and summary of the symposium must be sent, as well as the title and summary of each of the communications that comprise it, as well as the authors of each of the communications and the symposium moderator.
